A Beautiful Corner of North Yorkshire

A Unique Place to Work

A Beautiful Place to Live

Welcome to
Grimston Park Estate

Grimston Park is a picturesque estate one mile south of Tadcaster, mid-way between York and Leeds. Tadcaster, the Roman Calcaria, was a staging post on the road from London to York and is now a centre of the brewing industry.

A unique place to work

Grimston Grange offices were once Grimston Grange Farm, built by Lord Londesborough as part of his many improvements to the Estate in the 1860s. Over the years, this beautiful range of limestone buildings was supplemented by some steel and timber barns, all of which fell out of use in the 1980s and 90s with the change in farming methods.

In 2001 the Estate removed the 20th century additions and completed the conversion into offices, Grimston Grange now offers 15 office suites, occupied by a range of local businesses.

The most recent additions have been four Electric Vehicle chargers available for public use and a newly converted brick outbuilding, The Cart Shed, which offers enviable views over the historic parkland. The Farm House still stands by the offices and has recently been restored for modern living.

A beautiful corner of North Yorkshire

Grimston Park Estate is located midway between York and Leeds on the edge of the Vale of York. York is 12 miles away and the silhouette of York Minster can be seen clearly from the higher points of the Estate, with the Yorkshire Wolds on the Eastern skyline.

To the South lies the historic battlefield of Towton and the regenerated towns and villages of the Selby coalfield, notably Sherburn in Elmet and South Milford.

The economic growth of Leeds has brought fast roads to the doorstep, with the A1 only four miles away. Rail services to Leeds and York run from nearby Church Fenton and Ulleskelf Stations, and York station opens the way to London.
Grimston Park remains an oasis of countryside, with open parkland and fine old trees providing a majestic setting well hidden from passing traffic.
